Vote For India ~ An Assignment...
10:11
Time to start my assignment... Lemme text Suri first and tell her about it...
*Msg Sent*
While fiddling with my iphone, I get an idea..."Oh! Oh! i can use my smart phone! Yay! It has just the right tools which will help me succeed! Hey, wait... Sid just sent me a MSG on WeChat. I'll start my assignment right away! Sid is one tough nut to crack though... "

Now that we are done with the introduction, let's proceed towards our goal...
Majority of the youth think that voting is waste of time and only their vote can't make a difference. What they don't realize is that...
Like every drop of water makes the mighty ocean and every seed of sand makes the beautiful land, every vote counts too! If you don't vote, you don't have the right to blame the system and curse it! First follow your duty, and then I am sure that your voice will be heard!
Now, proceeding towards my goal, let me inspire my best friend now... Inspiring her won't be tough as she's already patriotic at heart... then I wonder why she didn't vote last year in spite of being Nineteen year old...
Lemme WeChat her and ask....
Via WeChat app
Conclusion: While the half of the youth think voting is a boring and useless job, the other half are unable to vote since they don't have the Voter's ID card. Now I'll make it a point to focus on this issue more...
I'll help the youth to get their voter ID cards easily by providing information and helping them out via WeChat, Facebook, Twitter and other social mobile apps...
Facebook is a very apt way to spread the message far and wide. I'll make different Facebook pages through which I'll inspire the youth by posting updates, election stats and some inspiring real life incidents...

After WeChat and Facebook, my next tool will be the Twitter mobile app!...
Via Twitter app
My task doesn't end here. I'll constantly keep the conversation with my friends on voting going on - thanks to my cell phone, it won't be a fret at all! If he knows what all I am doing, Rajni Sir will be proud of me...

Now, after receiving Rajni Sir's blessings, my mission has finally been accomplished! *Happy dance* Time to submit my assignment to my Economic Professor...
Meanwhile...

DeleteAn appreciable move by 19 year old Indian.proud of you, friend. Its been two decades since many in India feel its a waste of time voting and mostly we have Voter Ids for ID sake.Wasting a vote means cribbing about nation's ill without willing to take an initiative.I have been doing the same for so long. Although,I do not fall in the bracket of 20s anymore.Still,I have been reluctant. No more as we can express our intentions of not voting by pressing a button which says not voting for any party.
ReplyDeleteIts easy to say India is hopeless and leave the country to settle down in some US or Australia on this earth and but easier to participate in being the change. Choice is ours.
Nice illustrations Bush,as usual and a nice approach to educate young India to exercise its rights.
Wish you all the very best!
