Ask an Indian woman what is her favorite jewellery in the ethnic section and the answer right up the sleeve is none other than ~ Peppy Bangles ! Bangles are one of the most loved accessory when it comes to doing Indian Ethnic Wear.
Ethnic wear is incomplete without these . Weather you wear a beautiful saree , a salwar kameez, an anarkali or ghagra/Lehengas , you would require some sparkling bangles and other ethnic  jewelry to get the perfect Indian traditional look. Women in India have always treasured Indian jewelry including heavy necklaces, pearl rings, silver anklets, platinum rings etc. But out of all, bangles have always occupied a special place in a woman’s treasure box.
How can one forget the sweet clinking sound of bangles, so mesmerizing and many a times it acts as an indication about the presence of their beloved. Every woman who is fond of Indian jewelry can’t escape her fascination for bangles. Both married and unmarried women in India love flaunting bangles in different designs and materials!
It is also considered compulsory for a married woman to wear bangles in some parts of India and married woman in many states are made to wear the traditional chuda for a period of 6 months after marriage as it is a belief if a woman removes her bangles after her marriage, it brings bad omen to her husband. !
Bangles hold a traditional and ritualistic significance in India and below are a variations in Bangles that Indian women love to flaunt in order to bring in the fantastico factor to their ethnic outfits !

We all love charm bracelets but the latest twist in the trend is the charm bangle. This unique style combines the stack-ability of the classic bangle with the layered look of charm pendants. the charms could be pendants or pearls ! Style them with ethnic and modern kurtas along with skinny jeans and leggings. they are a favorite at colleges !

These bangles are compulsory to be worn by Punjabi’s and Muslim brides. Chuda comes in red and maroon color and are worn on both hands.

I have a huge crush on plastic bangles both studded and plain as they match all most all of my kurtis hence the best way to style them is to wear them with ethnic and indo ethnic kurtis !
