20 Peppy Indian Bridal Entry Songs

Imagine this - After months of meticulous planning and shopping, your bridal look is finally ready. You are decked up in your lehenga, dupatta pinned to perfection, make up done and your jewellery worn and now is the time for the grand entry. Your cousins, siblings and friends are ready with a phoolon ki chadaar and you walk down the aisle and the DJ ends up playing a random cheesy song spoiling your perfect entry. BAM!!! Anti climatic! Dramatic much? Well not really.

I actually witnessed a wedding where a bride entered and the DJ went on to play baby doll mein sone di on her entrance. Super awkward stuff. So not happening! Baby doll is definitely not a song to be played for a bridal entry. Apart from the awkwardness, what you'll have to bare with are the several eye rolls from random aunties and the next thing you know, you and your wedding are a part of their gossip! :D

Don't let this happen to you on your big day! Select your bridal entry song in advance, put it on a CD and hand it over to your DJ with clear instructions on which song to play and when. You may have planned everything to perfection but you are still the bride and coordinating and planning while you enter as a bride is so not happening. Get your sister or cousin to keep a tab on the DJ and remind him to play your song.
The entry of the bride is a very emotional experience for both the bride and her family and every girl wants to make this a perfect memory to preserve forever. A meaningful song can really take your entry notches up making it dreamy and peppy.

My friend who got married recently had a tough time deciding which song to play on her entry and almost everyone suggested she use Din Shagna Da. Now Din Shagna Da isn't a bad pick, in fact it is the most popular bridal entry song but my friend felt the song has been over used and done to death, she wanted something new and hatke. She finally settled for the unplugged version of Raabta after much research.

Thanks to Bollywood, there are several good choices available today. All you have to do is look for the one which suits your tastes the best. The key is to choosing a song which has an emotional touch to it yet, doesn't bring everyone to tears even before you have taken the final oaths!

If you are a peppy Indian bride-to-be who wants something fresh and fun for her bridal entry then here are 20 tracks you can choose from.
