5 Fantastico Places To Shop In Bangalore

Commercial street, Bangalore
Everyone knows of my love for shopping and though most of my shopping these days happen online, I have shopped enough offline in the past to guide people into some of the most treasured places to shop in the garden city of Bangalore.
The IT city of Bangaluru is also a shoppers delight and you can find exclusive stores for top international brands over here. Not just big brands , Bangalore has something for everyone and street shopping is also a big thing here.

Let's explore some fantastico places to shop in Bangalore in this post

Commercial Street: My favorite place to shop in Bangalore is commercial street and its numerous bylanes. Even with e-commerce boom bug biting me I don't miss visiting this street regularly . The main street is lined with stores from big brands like Max, puma, Archies, Adidas, Vero moda, Allen solly, wills lifestyle, melange among others while the by  lanes are full of clothing and accessory treasures. It is best to wait for sales to indulge in retail therapy at the branded stores but with street shopping you need bargaining skills in plenty to grab stuff at steal prices. Most retailers here quote 3 times the original price so it is always good to bargain the quoted price and bring it down to 1/3rd .
Commercial street is the best place to shop for kurtis, tops, bags, wallets, soft toys, juttis, denims, statement accessories, silver jewelry and even household articles . I keep going back to this place because you will find something new on every visit of yours, so dont forget to keep visiting this place at least once every month.
And while you shop don't forget to grab a bite at MC Donalds or Woodys or better still bite into street side roasted corn, bhel puri, fresh ripe guavas or golas.
Best Buys: Branded wear,  bridal wear, bags, junk jewelry and Juttis.

Brigade Road: This is another posh street  housing big brands like Levis, Lee, Woodland and Reebok but its the statement jewelry which i love on this road. you can buy antique jewelry , funky western wear and the latest accessory trends for super steal prices at this street. Multi brand stores are the best way to get most out of this place. You can get hungry while you shop and KFC or Dominos is the way to please your tummy.
Best Buys: Chunky junk jewelry, sunglasses and belts

Chickpet: This is one very popular shopping destination in Bangalore which I rarely visit because the lanes are very narrow, streets crowded and I don't wear much of silk sarees. Yes you read it right Chickpet has super narrow lanes which are stocked with some of the best textiles and sarees and it is always crowded because the prices are very affordable. If you want to buy textiles at cheap prices park your cars or two wheelers and get set shopping on foot.
Best buys: silk saris, dress materials at wholesale prices.

MG road: This road is popular for its silks, handicrafts (Cauvery emporium), books and gold jewelry. Brands like Deepam, Saboo , Prasiddhi, Higgim botham are all stores you should definitely visit on this road. This place is flocked by foreigners for hand crafted Souvinier shopping but if you want shop silk this the place to be .
Best buy: Silk, handicrafts.

Gandhinagar or majestic: This place is popular for cheap electronics, mobiles, mp3 players, house hold articles and decent non branded western wear. National market is popular for electronics, and for apparel you can visit shopping complexes like Bajaj complex, Suskhsagar mall, and Alankar plaza.
Best buys: Mobile accessories, Gift Articles, Replica clothing.
