My Fantastico Remedies For Puffy Eyes and Dark Circles11:30
Lately, I have been straining my eyes a LOT, resulting in dark circles, puffed eyes and extreme tiredness. As if using my eyes 24/7 was not enough, I am blogging like a Banshee which is having a lot of effect on my entire body, especially my eyes. Just a few days more of this marathon madness and I'll be going on a complete eye rejuvenation routine and pamper my whole body crazy until it forgives me! :P
Thanks to me being a beauty conscious girl, my eyes are not as effected by excessive strain on them as they should have been. I have been dedicating ten whole minutes to them everyday before I sleep to ensure they are cared for.
Don't you want to know the fantastico ways I use to ensure my eyes stay peppy in spite of all the straining? Then read away! :D
Cucumber/Potato Eye Mask:
This mask is no rocket science but just a slice of cucumber or potato which works for tired eyes like magic! It's a real fantastico way to treat puffiness and release stress. Whenever I have a headache or puffed eyes, I just go for this age old remedy and keep slices of cucumber mostly on my eyes. I do this five minutes prior to sleeping and leave the slices on my eyes overnight(as long as I don't turn in my dreams and make them fall). I have noticed that cucumber and potatoes go a long way in treating dark circles too.
Aroma Magic Under Eye Gel:
I believed no product will work for my dark circles and puffy eyes until... I met the under eye gels. I have used eye gels from Lotus Herbals and Aroma Magic. The Aroma Magic one is my current favorite. It's true to its name ~ pure magic! If you wear specs or sit on your laptop a lot or use your phone all the time, this is a MUST have gel for you. Men should have it too. It's a must must buy. I have used three tubes of it already and the fourth one is half empty. This is one fantastico under eye gel which gets rid of tiredness within minutes and puts me into a dream sleep. It also acts as a wonderful stress buster. It's not that great for dark circles though but regular use does give you noticeable results!
Cold Metal Spoons:
This is one method which I picked up from the Internet few years back and have brought into action ever since. This might look like a very weird process but it's simply fantastico and can work wonders. All you have to do is place two metal spoons in the freezer for five minutes and then place them under your eyes and the whole area which looks tired. Let the cold spoon touch your eye skin and work its magic. Once you feel the spoons have warmed up you can repeat the freezing process or simply use a bowl of ice cold water to dip your spoons in.
These three fantastico ways really work for my tired eyes and these are the only reason I have my eyes still open today after yesterday night's rigorous blogging! They all work!
